Major League Baseball x London Loves L.A
I'm all about finding new lines and trends, which is why I had to do a post on a line I'm obsessed with recently. called Major League x London Loves L.A. As if the line couldn't get any cooler, they perfectly mix American sports athleisure with British style, which is a budding trend in the fashion industry.
Boutique London fashion brand London Loves LA today revealed a limited edition capsule collection featuring logos of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The collaboration between MLB in Europe and London Loves LA sees the world-famous Dodgers mark featured on the tees and hoodies of this boutique brand for the first time, uniting L.A. vintage with the growing trend of ath-leisure in the UK.
The new fashion line, shot by acclaimed photographer Bella Howard at Dodgers Stadium, consists of a mixture of short and long sleeved t-shirts as well as a range of hoodies, perfect for the warm summer temperatures and cool evenings and will be made available, whilst stocks last through londonlovesla.com.
“We launched London Loves LA to celebrate vintage Americana and capture the style of our Californian childhood. To be able to work with MLB and feature the iconic Dodgers logo in our own inspired collection really is a dream come true for us and marks a milestone in chic streetwear. We cannot wait for the UK to get their hands on it.” said Ella Berman, co-founder of London Loves LA.
MLB is bringing the rich iconography, heritage and style of baseball to Europe in 2017 and launched with Ashish Gupta’s catwalk collection at London Fashion Week. The collaboration with London Loves LA will drop across the UK and Europe focusing on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Denis Nolan, Vice President of International Consumer Products said, “Our latest fashion collaboration with London Loves LA comes at a very exciting time for MLB. Many people in the UK instantly recognise the iconic Dodgers logo, but don’t always appreciate its origin. This collection unites the culture of American baseball through a casual lifestyle lens.”
