The Ampersand Hotel
When I wander around the world, my hotel experience is just as important to me as a good traveling agenda, the architecture of the city or the food. I have been to London a few times, and let me tell you, nothing beats The Ampersand Hotel so far. If you are a frequent user of TripAdvisor, the traveling guide app, this could be a convincing element: The Ampersand Hotel was ranked No.2 on World Trip Advisor. I am very certain and pleased that they lived up to that reputation during my trip.
The Ampersand Hotel is located in Kensington, which is my favorite part of London. The hotel looks out to peaceful Harrington Rd. and I am sure you will immediately fall in love with the flower baskets hanging out of first floor's windows. The staff were amazing, attentive and very friendly to me. Local landmarks (birds for the Natural History Museum; planets for the Science Museum, for instance) inspired the luxurious, themed rooms, and I had access to flat-screen TVs, media hubs and free WiFi for the whole stay. Some suites also offer kitchenettes if that's something you are into. For dinner, I went to the famous Apero Restaurant and Bar. According to the info I received before coming to London, it is among Kensington's best restaurants, "with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that appeals to both houseguests and locals." That was exactly what I felt about this lovely dining. Really enjoyed the food to the last bite. If you had a chance, check out the cocktails. Nothing beats sipping on a delicious cocktail in a cozy and lovely bar. Brilliant.
If you're in London, I highly suggest stopping by this fantastic hotel for an evening out!
