Drybar Rocks

Immediately after arriving in NYC yesterday, I went to Barry's Bootcamp for a kick ass workout, and then I went to Drybar down the street to get my hair done before a shoot yesterday night. If you've never been to Drybar, it's time you treat yo self and get in their salon. I hadn't been to any locations in NYC prior to yesterday, but I have been to Drybar in Boston which is even bigger than the location in Tribeca. Both were clean, comfortable, and chic!

What's fantastic about bars like this is 1) no age regulation, haha! 2) you feel like you're totally treating yourself even though you're not getting your hair cut AND you're spending under $50. I love bringing my best friends in for a Friday night and indulging in a luxury experience while bonding with friends for a reasonable price.

I opted for a braid this time around, because it's summer and braids are super cute. My stylist knew exactly what to do, which is one of my favorite traits hairstylists have that I don't: confidence when it comes to playing with hair! You literally go in, get your hair washed (try a keratin treatment or a head massage for a few extra bucks, too), blown out, and styled in under 50 minutes. What's better than that?

Check out all of the Drybar locations here!
