A few weeks back, I headed to Boston with my friend Megan for a little weekend away. We're both teen entrepreneurs, and it's pretty much a constant struggle to balance having a life and having a career. That's one of the reasons I love her though: she gets the industry, and she's one of those people that I know would be there for me if I needed anything and hadn't talked to her in a few weeks due to scheduling. Those are the friends you want to surround yourself with.
Since we were having a relaxing weekend, filled with a spa trip and a night over at the Encore B&B, we couldn't pass up dinner at Elephant Walk. Two massages at Exhale Spa later (I've been spending a decent amount of time at Exhale lately), we ventured to downtown Boston to feast on some of the cleanest + tastiest food either of us had tried in a while.
We began with a tasty spring roll, and coconut pork dish that Megan swears was one of the best foods she's ever eaten. I can't deny that. We went on to order the simple spinach + pear salad, which was slightly too acidic for my liking but Meg enjoyed it, and I decided to dig in to some of their famous french fries and skip the greens. Now that was a fantastic idea.
I had the short rib and she had the tuna for our entrees, and we enjoyed them. I have to say, I was quite impressed with the starters and appetizers over the entrees, just because the selection was so massive. You really can't go wrong at Elephant Walk.
