Even though Charlotte wasn't the most intriguing city I've ever visited, being able to explore with Nate and one of my best friends Grace made the trip totally worth while. After finishing shooting on Monday, we went out and adventured around, going to Pure Barre to burn our carrot cake off, and eating indulgent Italian food at Vivace.
Nate and I stayed the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel, located 8 minutes away from the airport. Since I wasn't familiar with Charlotte, I wanted to choose a hotel that would be helpful with all of my questions regarding traveling around and where to see. I definitely chose correctly. We arrived to the hotel, and were greeted with huge cookies and fruit infused water: two of my favorite foods in the entire world.
Our room was the perfect size, and we had enough room to work at our own space and for Nate to take tons of video vlogs in the room and around the hotel. Both of us were quite exhausted after an early morning flight, so we ended up staying in the hotel for the whole day. Sometimes, you just need to chill.
We ate at the hotel for a few of our meals, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and clean the food was. I had a salmon salad one day for lunch, and a steak meal for dinner, and both were prepared to my liking and satisfying. The hotel also offers a breakfast buffet, so if you're on the go, you can grab a cup of complimentary Starbucks coffee, a yogurt, and get out of the door!
If you're in need of a place to stay in Charlotte that's affordable and a trendy, central spot, the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel is the place for you. Whether you're traveling alone on business, or with family, the hotel offers something for everyone!
