I invite you to come along for a fashionably fierce and insane ride.

Stylish regards,

What's in the Box?

This post has been in partnership with Spirit Halloween, but all opinions are my own.

Halloween is growing closer than I can actually believe. I never usually dress up for Halloween. In the past, I've been: Alexa Curtis (do you know who she is!?), a farmer, and a cat. I'm not too creative when it comes to costumes, as you can tell.

This year, since I'm in a new city, surrounded by all my best friends who are in college, I decided to change the game a bit. I've partnered with Spirit Halloween, one of the most famous Halloween stores, in an attempt to force me to dress up for a very popular holiday. Along with offering some of the sickest costumes, they also work with Spirit of Children, a program that focuses on making hospitals less scary for children and their families. I don't know any other Halloween store that works with a charity on such an incredible project like that, so I couldn't resist collaborating!

I was thrilled to see the project they decided to work on this year. It's called What's in the Box? and how it goes down is they send me a mystery bag of "ingredients" and I have to pick and choose what to put together to make a fantastic costume! Somewhat like Chopped, but with Halloween costumes. I adore the idea!

Since I've been running from city to city for the past few weeks, I haven't had as much time as I hoped to get to experiment with too many costumes. But, I managed to take some of the rad accessories and put together what I'm calling (dun, dun, dun...)

A walking bride/Goddess costume!

It's kinda random, but also innovative and plays up some of the accessories they sent me. I'm thinking of adding garters (which were in the bag) to my final outfit, to really play up a dead bride/ Goddess! I'm wearing a simple black dress from Aeropostale underneath, so you don't have to have a massive budget to make your Halloween costume out of the box. You simply need a little bit of a cash, and a lot of inspiration, to head into  Spirit Halloween, and make your Halloween worth every penny!
