Brr, it is definitely getting colder outside. I'm less and less motivated to leave my house after 5 PM because the sun goes down and the weather chills to a bitter 50 degrees or less (basically freezing in my opinion.) This Anthro vest that has been sitting in my closet for quite a while now is finally coming to a great use! There is not one piece during fall/winter that is more necessary than a decent vest that is fashionable and will keep you warm, along with a perfect coat. I opted for this one in the store because of price (on sale) and the quilted pattern doesn't go out of fashion season after season, so it will be along until I get fed up with it.
These amazing new bracelets by Jem are becoming yet another staple in my ever-changing wardrobe. Teenage appropriate and absolutely adorable: something about friendship style bracelets always gets me excited! And the colors are fun! Teenagers in this decade seem to forget that fashion is still supposed to be fun for us: wearing black all day is not a great way to live up the teenage years, where we can get away with wearing crazy colors.
My birthday is on Tuesday, so I'm prepared for a pretty busy weekend. I planned brunch with my best friends/family on Sunday to celebrate before I go to the city on Monday for an insane day with meetings/agency visit, and I return to a fun filled day on Tuesday beginning with breakfast with my parents, and ending with pizza/cake with my friends. I ordered a gluten-free vegan marble cake with a dark cherry filling and vanilla buttercream. My mouth is drooling just thinking of it.
