RIVER ISLAND overalls//ASOS top//ASOS heels//Andrea Bocchio necklace//
Furla bag//Assorted arm candy//Obey hat

There is something so special about New York Fashion Week, whether it be being
surrounded by the mass of fashionable people, or the feeling of being around other
people quite like me. For my first day of shows, I knew the minute I saw these River
Island overalls on ASOS (on sale) they had to be in my closet, and with a graphic
cropped top underneath. Really happy that the gym and me are friends lately, otherwise
pulling off a cropped top in September may not have been the best idea. Just the top
and overalls wasn't going to do it: the look needed something a little more to jazz
the overalls up, and that is when my hat and necklace came into play. Playing around
with accessories will always be an adventure for me.

When looking for the perfect pair of overalls, it is always important to decide on the
wash first before the style. I myself am not a huge fan of acid wash, so picking this pair
was a little out of my comfort zone. Surprisingly the acid wash is not so bad in overalls,
and worked great with my outfit idea. Opt for a simple light color or dark color depending
on how you want to wear them, and if you're up for an experiment, try a printed pair of
overalls! You never know what to expect, which is exciting in terms of putting an outfit
together. This necklace by Andrea Bocchio seems to get street style photographers in
a little bubble: maybe because it's catchy, hipster, and ever so artsy? I threw it on even
with my printed hat just for an added touch, which every fashionista needs every now
and then.
