Let me just mention how incredibly and ridicilously warm Free People
thermals are. I bought this FP outfit for my birthday at my local
store, and went with the white thermal because they were out of the dark
purple that I wanted. I am always cold. Never warm, always freezing. The
FP thermals keep me probably 20 degrees above my average freezing temp
are are very warm and cozy. Simple, but the sleeves have intricate design
patterns that make them just the opposite. $70 for a thermal top seems
ridiculous (in my moms opinion) but after you experience this top, you
will completely disagree.

I arrived yesterday evening from my (quick) working trip to the city on
Friday. This trip was a bit different because I got to bring one of
my best friends to experience the madness of my job with me. I will have a
full follow-up post with all my pictures and everything that we did Friday
night, but to put it shortly: I was invited to Z100's Jingle Ball pre-party at
the Hammerstein Ballroom and the actual concert (Justin Beiber and One
Direction were in attendance- holy moly), where I found myself jamming out
to tons of hit songs performed by Taylor Swift, B.O.B., Ed Sheeran...as well as
taking some lovely picture of girls who I thought had fabulous outfits
for the concert. Tons of sparkles, edgy prints like leopard, combat boots
and relaxed but fun and appropriate looks for the teens that were in
attendance caught my eye.

Thank you SO much Girl's Life & Crayola for sending me with
two tickets to experience my first Jingle Ball concert & pre-party! I
can't wait until next year when I can be your Jingle Ball scout all over
again!

Since it was technically my friends first time to the city, I figured in the
short amount of time we had Saturday to walk around, Rockefeller Center
skating was the perfect end to a great trip. I'm not big on the whole
tourist thing since I have surpassed the amount of times you can go to
NYC as a tourist, but waiting in line for ice skating was most definitely
worth it. I am beyond lucky to have the opportunity to experience and do
what I do, but bringing a friend with me and allowing her to experience
it all makes everything worth the while, and a whole lot more
special.
