When I was in NYC at Jingle Ball scouting fashion trends, I came across
an apparent look that seems to be escalating into a mad house  right
now. That trend being glitter. You can expect this around Christmas
and New Years Eve, but I was more than surprised to see the excessive
amount of sparkly dresses, studded combat boots, glam headbands,
and glittery silver sweaters. Do not get me wrong- I adore glitter. It's
feminine, pretty, edgy, and perfect for that New Years Eve date you want
to impress (and hopefully kiss under the mistletoe- so cliche) but
are you as in to the trend as it is becoming? Is this possibly something
that should continue through the new year?

Making a very girly and juvenille type trend edgy and partially
deceiving is the bomb. Why not pair a pair of Doc Martens or
black suede flats/ Converse with your glittery dress? You don't have
to stay with the young prints and textures- switch it up. No one ever
knows what may happen and who may be looking (your future NYE
kiss, if you know what I'm saying ;))
