IRO Dress in Matt Sequins via Asos
I have to say that some trends, I'm not totally obsessed with. One of them being silvery, metallic like prints. No one wants to dress like we're on our way to an 80's disco, or on our way to a Halloween party dressed as Lady Gaga. But as I look further and further into metallic and silvery trends, my eye seems to adapt more and more to it, and for some reason, I think it's a trend I just might try.
The biggest part of trying to pull off a metallic outfit is too not over do it. Opting for stand out jewelry is the best way to achieve the silver heaven. You can also start with neutral separates and add a pop of color to add a bit more to your outfit. I especially love how Camilla Belle wore her silver dress to a Coach party. It's a simple dress paired with Sergio Rossi pumps and a simple clutch. No accessories makes the outfit simple and brings the eye straight to the dress.
One last trend I'm also obsessed with now is a metallic/gold color on your nail! I've seen so many celebs painting a light color on their nails and then picking one finger to paint metallic/gold. It's totally simple but really makes a difference and becomes such a fun way to dress up your hands!
P.S. I'm going to try and post while I'm in Mexico, but if wireless internet in my hotel room is sky high expensive, then um... well I will post somehow! When I get back my new giveaway goes up!
P.P.S. I've changed my Twitter username to @FashionLaneBlog instead of @fashionamour1! Thought this new one was less juvenile.
