Sex Ed For Teens: The Pill Vs. IUD
Growing up, no one talked to us about birth control in health class. I remember watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Kendall Jenner went on birth control because of her skin- the fact I learnt about birth control via a reality show is really sad! You'd be surprised at how many girls go on birth control because of their skin, which I do have mixed concerns about due to the hormones in birth control. There should be absolutely NO SHAME in talking about birth control- and it's so sad to me that the topic is pretty much avoided in schools and in public. Birth control is a very practical and safe contraceptive for young adult girls to use.
