Back With A Mission

Back With A Mission

J.Crew dress + bathing suit

I got back late last night from my trip to Europe, and coming back to this terrible East Coast weather is really sad. It's enough to make me want to jump right back on a plane to Ibiza. Or even Dublin- anywhere that's not Boston!

I haven't had a chance to post on my blog, so I'll be sharing a lot of content about my trip over the next week. I started in London, where I stayed with Astor Hostels and attended Wireless Festival (I finally saw G-Eazy in concert, which has been on my bucket list for years), then I traveled to Ibiza and stayed in a tent for a few nights, before ending the trip in Dublin. It was one of the best and most successful trips I've ever gone on. The people, the opportunity, and the fun I had will never be forgotten. In Ibiza, I traveled on a boat to an island off the coast called Formentera, and we rented a moped for the day and viewed the beaches. I've never been on a moped, but where better to potentially end your life than in a foreign country! (JK).

Europe is such a cool place, and I think it has to do with the lack of regulations there. If you made the drinking age in the U.S. 18, kids would go crazy. In Europe, kids start tasting wine at a young age, which makes them less interested in partying and going crazy at college. Every time we stopped by a restaurant or a pub, whether it was 1 PM or 1 AM, people were having a drink and we saw no one drunk the entire five days we were there. What do you think: should young adults be allowed to try alcohol at a young age so they don't go crazy when they're older?

P.S. I'm working on putting a girls dinner together in Boston. Interested in coming? Email fashionlane@alifeinthefashionlane.com!

Xo,

Alexa
