Episode 16: Simple Mills Founder Kaitlin Smith
I totally fan girled when I met up with Simple Mills founder Kaitlin Smith last week in Chicago. She started Simple Mills a few years ago, after suffering with gut issues and feeling like there was nothing on the market that made her enjoy eating healthy. She began tracking almond flour sales in Whole Foods and Sprouts and began testing out her own recipes in her Charlotte, NC kitchen. Over the past few years, Simple Mills has become a nationwide addiction, sold in 12,000+ stores across the USA and putting Kaitlin on the map with brands like Whole Foods & FORBES. As an entrepreanur, self-doubt is a part of the process. Kaitlin had to max out her credit cards and leave her corporate job to follow her true passion of food and nutrition. And it worked out!
