Sex Ed for Teens is Back!
I have honestly never been as comfortable talking about all things relating to my body as I currently am. Maybe that's because I have definitely become more comfortable with myself and the way I look, or because I started a nonprofit that talks directly to teens all of the time...but I'm not complaining. I want to be the person that takes the first step towards talking about everything relating to young adults and mental health, the good and the not so good. The thing is, we're all learning and growing together at the same time, so why not learn the things you are probably wondering already in an accepting and comfortable environment?
When I was in high school, I never learned anything about STDs. Obviously, it's the most uncomfortable and awkward topic to discuss, but every teen knows about STDs from their friends, siblings, and the Internet. I'd rather have you guys read my blog posts, or watch my YouTube videos, that are honest and straight to the point. I only discuss the topics I know about, which means I've ever dealt with a situation or my friends have. Let's make every single topic relating to your body (gross or not gross!) accepted and socially OK to discuss: are you with me?
