Oh boy, do I miss London. The cobblestone streets, kind Europeans, and late night fish and chips at hole-in-the-wall pubs. On my last day in London when FW just ended, I took the day to go to Kensington, which is the location my hotel was in for LFW last year.
Kensington is my most beloved areas in London. Since it's not one of the most popular areas, you're going to find the tourists in Westminster and over by the palace, so Kensington embraces European culture, without the "let me take a picture of the ground!" tourists. You can spend an entire day walking up and down Kensington High Street, grabbing cheap Indian food at one of the many little restaurants, or walking around Uniqlo and Topshop to find an outfit. If you're in the area, make sure you stop into the Whole Foods Kensington, as I'd probably travel on a plane six hours (weekly) to visit this particular location.
