Happy Friday! This week went by sooo quickly! I ended up staying in NYC longer than expected, which is why my last post was almost a week ago- bringing my heavy laptop around is a frustration!
Temps in the city this week broke records across the U.S, which was intense. There is nothing worse than trekking across the city from meeting to meeting while being frigid, so my ultimate goal was to stay warm. On Monday, a few of my appointments were canceled since many were still stuck in airports due to the weather, so my mom and I ventured to the Upper East Side for afternoon tea and scones at the adorable Alice’s Tea Cup! This place is  a little magical joint on the streets of NY. I’m getting more and more excited to head to London in less than a month for days filled with afternoon tea and scones- feeling like a princess!
One of my New Years goals is to not spend tons more money on clothing, but the other day I walked into the Juicy Store on the UES and was astonished at the incredible sales. This headband was $7! I couldn’t help but pick up a few items, including  a new sweatsuit, the headband, this bag ($40 from $248) and a basic t-shirt. Most of my outfit was a fairly good deal. The boots were an incredible price in Turkey, this being my first time wearing them out on the street. Even the chunky sweater was an end of summer steal at a cute boutique!
When is your favorite time to shop the sales, and if so where do you head to?
P.S. Got a few amazing things coming up right now- stay tuned for a YouTube channel!
