Sundays are my treat day, so I enjoy whatever I want! This is a pumpkin spice chai
latte, and it was delicious!

I have a love/hate relationship with brunch because breakfast is my favorite meal,
and I can never decide what to get from the brunch menu. This time, I went with a
salmon, avocado sandwich on gluten-free bread.

Baked oatmeal with skim milk and raisins!

 Gluten-free fritatta with baked potatoes.

Salmon flatbread on gluten-free bread. This is to die for.

Something about the country always gets me. The 23/24 hours that aren’t spent
hating it, are spent actually embracing the beauty that surrounds me everyday.
On Sunday, my dad took my mom and I out for brunch at the most delicious cafe
a few minutes from my house. This place is meant to be in a tucked away corner in
France, not the middle of nowhere in Eastern, CT. Since the only food that surrounds
me is Ruby Tuesday, Applebee’s, and froyo, I spend a good amount of time at this little
joint. The best part about going out to brunch at home in CT is that it gives me a reason
to dress up. Denim on denim is a classic and neutral trend that always excites me. I
can’t decide whether it is the mix of the country/hillbilly vibe that goes along with J Brand
jeans and combat boots (a major clash) or that denim looks good with just about everything.
The country has the tendency to give me such earthy and organic vibes. That being said,
I’m always looking for ways to design and be inspired with recycling. For people who are
interested in designing, they can purchase recycled paper or buy from sites like The Green
Office  that offer recycled items.
After brunch, my mom wanted to stop at a few places before heading back to my house
so we took a short detour and came across this land out in another town (again, in the
middle of nowhere.) This farm was so large and the land so spacious and beautiful. Every
part looked untouched and sacred. Who knows: maybe the country isn’t that awful after
