Comfort and Class

NORDSTROM dress (similar here/here)//TOMS shoes//REBECCA MINKOFF bag//ANDREA BOCCHIO bracelet//FOREVER 21 necklace
Another Sunday! Boy, is this summer going by wayyy too quickly. My
summer in the city is coming to a quick close and I surely do not want
to go. Fashion Week is less than 2 months away, so my summer isn’t
really ending! A few exciting projects are happening this week that will
be shared as soon as they come out! New York is a realm of undeniable
opportunities so different from my small, sheltered town in CT. I can
say that the only thing about my middle of nowhere town that I do
miss is my friends and my bed. Dorm room beds are not the same,
let me tell you.
This dress is my favorite dress in my entire closet right now. During
my shopping spree to Nordstrom (junior’s section- trust me, I can’t
afford anything else) this pretty little frock came into my view surfing
through endless racks and I knew it needed a place in my closet.
Cue Confessions of a Shopaholic playlist here. It gives me curvesssss
(holla!) and fits snug to my body, but the stretchy elastic fabric is well,
stretchy, so remains comfortable on me through the whole day. Plus,
blue is the color of my eyes, and every piece I wear that tends to be in
the same color palette brings out all my top features, which is rad!
The amount a statement necklace can bring to one outfit is
spectacular. To go from a simple day time dress (not to mention
teenageish if that makes sense)to a classy and sophisticated dress
is mind boggling, in the sense that one piece can make all the difference.
After long days of walking around the packed streets of Boston and
through the heavily populated Quincy Market, all I want is comfort and
