A Little Lace Accent

My journey in NYC has just begun, but it is more amazing then I could ever
imagine it to be. I’m taking courses at LIM while interning at a really rad shoe
brand in Tribeca, modeling a bit, and working! Life is pretty hectic right now,
but I’m living and loving every minute. I wouldn’t choose life any other way
(even on the days where I’m up till midnight perfecting a post) and your support
has been the biggest part of this journey.
These shots were taken in Boston last week! I stay in Lexington every time I
go with family, which is great because the hotel is small, quiet, and intimate,
and during the 4th of July Boston is a mad house. The salesperson at Nordstom
was an angel when I went in a few months ago looking for a new outfit- she
brought me staples that needed to be in my closet (this is my first black skirt!) and
I mixed and matched a few pieces. This denim vest is slowly becoming a key
necessity, and the vintage but rocker and modern look from the lace but light
wash denim is inevitably eye catching. I haven’t got as many comments on a piece
like this jacket in quite some time.
There are a few different stores a piece like this jacket could be found at, including
Urban Outfitters, ASOS, Forever 21, and Garage. Denim mixed with lace may not
always be the cheapest item in the store, so keep your eyes locked for summer
sales where you may find a piece like mine.
Stay updated with my Twitter page today because I’m announcing something
HUGE later on tonight!

BBQ tempeh with roasted veggies and grilled beets at Nourish
in Lexington, MA. A little cold but overall really delicious and filling.

I am digging this total Nordstrom look! I just got my first flared black skirt too, and I looove it. Also your sneakers! AH i love keds 🙂 I want a white lace pair if they even make those, haha. Sounds like New York has been treating you well (and from what I've seen on your instagram!) Have an awesome summer in NYC–that is so awesome 🙂

Such a great look! You're so lucky to be in NYC, I've never been but I want to go so badly!!

    Can't wait for more posts!!

SO jealous that you are taking courses at LIM right now while I'm on the other side of the country! You are a true inspiration and I can't to see more from you! This outfit is great – and I just bought my first black skirt recently too! Feels alittle weird, like why didn't I have this before? Wish you the best in NYC.
