First of all, Happy Father’s Day to the amazing dads out there and
if you’re not celebrating this holiday, to whoever may take your dads
place or be your inspiration. Without my dad, I probably wouldn’t be
where I am today with the amount of support he has given me. Thank
you so much dad.
On the other hand, my sister is going to be traveling for the next 3
months, and moved out of her apartment in NYC and brought her
closet home to me while she is away. This means: a Balenciaga bag,
Furla bag, Chloe sunglasses, skirts, dresses…ooohhh it’s going to be
good. This skirt happened to take my fancy because ever since I saw
the skirt hanging in the closet, blowing every time the wind blew…it
just had to be mine. A silk floral printed high waisted skirt from a few
seasons ago, but now the skirt has become slightly more vintage and
the print is wearing out, which makes any piece more appealing.
This isn’t the type of skirt to wear a patterned top with: simplicity
is key. A denim jacket happens to be a timeless staple piece that can
be worn with anything, but works great with the skirt because of
the eclectic and old world feeling. Simple accessories and a pair of
sunglasses to match the skirt make this outfit one of my garden
