Designing a fairytale

If someone was to ask me how I would describe my bedroom in three words, I would say those words would be vintage, chic, and inspirational. Designing a room is so much like taking a huge shopping trip with an unlimited budget and an unlimited amount of ideas. There is no right or wrong. Obviously, I picked everything that was put in my room and every place that every little piece was put. My wall art probably has to be my most favorite part. It just speaks me, especially the first shot which has a mannequin and all these cute little designing shots. Speaking on behalf of my gorgeous new dresser, I would have to say it reminds me oh so much of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City and a mix of Vogue and W. For some reason whenever I look at it, I imagine the little Fifth Ave girl flipping through a high fashion mag sitting at her mommy’s dresser, wishing should could fit in to the latest McQueen fashion and overdosing on red Chanel lipstick.

P.S. I decided not to make a video for this post instead and just take some pictures because I thought that was easier and better to look at. A new video was put up on VideofyMe this weekend though so check it out!

P.P.S. I’m SO excited…I’m going to Cozumel, Mexico over April break! It’s a little more than a month away and I have so much bathing suit/short shopping I need to do. Any fab places you get your suits from? I need some really lovely pieces to wear by the beach!

Gorgeous room, loving the purple paint! Very chic indeed. I can't believe you were Irma in Picnic at Hanging Rock, what a MASSIVE coincidence! I told the girl who played Irma what you told me and she flipped out, she was so surprised! Haha that's so cool 🙂 There's a new post up on my blog and I'd love to hear what you think of it, so feel free to stop by!
