It’s finally March! I can’t even believe it! It’s so great to know that spring is actually coming around-meaning floppy hats, maxi dresses and open toed sandals. Oh how I love summer.
This outfit was just a fun outfit I put together. I wanted to be able to wear the dress without the cardigan on, but it’s a bit too chilly out. The wool dress is SO comfy though and with the bow its a perfect mix of girly and sleek. The leggings I found at Forever 21 for $8! I love that they are like an abstract painting and have a fab mix of edgy but not over the top. Not to mention the cotton blend is just amaz. I only added a simple vintage bangle and red ruby pendant to complete the look. I had imagined pairing the outfit with my awesome whistle (cool, huh?) necklace but it was way to long and covered the bow.
For a couple of the pics I paired my new Rebecca Minkoff purple bag with the outfit. I think every wardrobe should consist of one good, sturdy and fabulous bag. I love the pop of color and especially the strips of suede coming off the pocket. The fact that there is a long strap (that can be taken off) and a short handle for a laid back day or night on the town shows what a nice purse this is.
P.S. Next post will actually be on dressing like the celebs! Stay fashionable over a nice springy weekend, unless you’re in the midwest 🙂 My giveaway ends Monday at 4:00 PM EST TOO! MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR ENTRIES IN BY THEN!! (It’s 3 posts after this one)! The APART Style 15% code FASHIONLANE is still intact till March 8th at!
P.P.S. Sorry about the bad quality pictures- I need to teach my mom how to take a decent amount of good pictures when she actually takes the pics.
Love, forever&always
