Hey everyone! So sorry I haven’t posted in like a week, I’ve been so busy with finishing up the last marking period at school. I wanted to do a post today on the Golden Globes fashion like I had said I would a couple days ago. I loved the style this year. Pink, emerald green and fire red were big hits on the carpet. There were many ruffles, modern cut-outs, dazzling sequins and one shoulder dreams.
I especially loved Olivia Wilde and Angelina Jolie. I think Natalie Portman looked amaz for being preggers, but I don’t think the Viktor & Rolf dress really suited her. Especially with the red flower, it just didn’t go together. A lot of celebs had very simple dresses, but accessorized great and the dresses seemed to fit so snug on everyone. Like Eva Longoria, who wore a gorg Zac Posen dress that really showed off her curves. Anna Hathaway looked so nice in an Armani Prive shimmery dress that matched her skin tone perfectly. The shoulders were a bit padded which is very in.
If you want a dress that looks like Anne Hathaway’s, drop by Sak’s Fifth Avenue and pick up an A.B.S long sleeve boatneck dress. It’s shorter then Anne’s, but still sticks with sparkles an padded shoulders. Not to mention it’s under $300! If you want to look like Emma Stone and Claire Danes, purchase an ALICE by Temperley Mini Mimi Dress, which can be found at shopbop.com. If you want an emerald green dress like Mila Kunis’ and Angelina Jolie, opt for an Alice+Olivia Carla Twisted Dress for under $200.
P.S. Next post is an outfit! Probably my Minkpink leggings (that I exchanged for a size bigger) with knee high combat boots and an H&M glitter pocket cardigan,
