Hi y’all and happy Saturday! This St. Louis Fashion Week has been pretty damn amazing, to put it shortly. I’ve never witnessed such an intimate and organized setting (compared to the chaos of NYFW) and can thank Alive Magazine for that! In between events yesterday, I managed to prepare for a segment on Fox 2 on 3 Fashion Week Looks for Less, and casted models and pulled outfits last week back over in CT. At 5:30 yesterday AM, I journeyed to 13th and Washington, and then straight to the Fox 2 studio to get my models set up in their trendy and cute looks! WATCH THE SEGMENT HERE!
Model #1: Mixing Patterns (Paris Fashion Week Runway)
At New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, I realized designers putting looks together that you wouldn’t expect to match, but ultimately do! So I put my first model in an affordable skirt and sweater from Kohls, and accessories from 9th and Elm.
Skirt: S.o. R.a.d. Collection by Kohl’s: $20
Model #2: Menswear
I put my second model in the always trending menswear look, inspired by these hot looks from the Pyer Moss show at NYFW. I couldn’t get over how I would’ve rocked every single outfit that these guys wore!
Candie’s Blazer (to keep the trend menswear, opt for a size larger than your one so the blazer is slightly oversized)
Model #3: 70s
Mudd Tassle Boots (I’m getting another trend in there too- fringe!)
Xo,
Miss Fashionista
