Candela F/W 13 NYFW

The Candela presentation at NYFW was lovely. It is reminiscent of  

summer and the line never fails to remind me of being free and staying 

young for as long as possible. However, this seasons presentation was 

too much like last years- don't get me wrong, boho vibes are my all 

time fav and of course wearing any piece from Candela would be any 

girls dream come true, but this year my hopes were higher that a 

different vibe would come out of the line. Something maybe more edgy

and risky vs. the average expected looks. That is just me. What do you 

think? Too much like last years and it should be a bit different? Or

is this what should be expected from Candela every year? Chunky knits

and bedazzled skirts are great to a certain degree, until we begin to 

feel like every year the same skirt is featured but in different colors or

patterns. 

Intricate designs always grab my attention, and the aztec and

Western vibe from Candela is intriguing and appealing. What would make

you not want to wear a light pink skirt with cowboy boots and a bedazzled

hat?! The aspect of being able to pair different pieces with other essentials

in a wardrobe is definitely eye catching. One of my fav parts of any line is

versatility. You will not find any ball gowns or MET Ball approved

dressy dresses in any Candela presentation, but feminine and beautiful 

pieces which can be paired with many others in the collection and out of. 

That is one way that Candela never fails me.
